Our dancing group was establish in 1979 by one of the well-known choreographer of the Israeli folk dance in Israel Gaveri Levi

Gaveri Levi started to dance in his early years in one of the dancing groups of the

legendary conceptual dancing , the choreographer Yonatan Karmon

 

After many years of dancing, being  choreographer and the director of many groups in Israel Gaveri establish in 1977 the "Shalom Dance Group"  that became Israel's official representative of folk dance throughout the world

 

Few year later in 1979 he establish our group "Vatikey - Petach Tiqva" many of the dancer of this group where dancing with Gaveri during the years and was looking to continue dancing has an hobby,

 

Sins than the group is rehearcaling and proforming continusely during all this years on many stages in Israel and in folk festivals around the worled.

 

the group is renovating all the time with new choreographers, dancers  and

programs. All the new choreographers are ex dancers of Yonatan Karmon.
